Our Mission
We opened a plant-based restaurant in Burlingame because we believe what you eat matters for the planet, for animals, and for the people around you.
🌱The Plate
Every dish starts with where it came from. We source from Peninsula farms, name them on the menu, and let the ingredients speak for themselves.
🏫The Schools
Community Table Days directs real revenue — not fundraising asks, not spare change — to local schools and foundations doing work worth supporting.
🤝The Neighborhood
We live here. Bob and Natalie have three kids headed for Burlingame schools. The Peninsula's health is personal — and that shows up in how we invest.
The Community Table Days Program
Twelve local schools. Twelve special Wednesdays. 12% of the day's revenue donated to each school's 501(c)(3).
Schools apply with student-created content about sustainability and community. Winners are revealed during the Twelve Days of Christmas: one school each day from December 25 through January 6.
How We Give Back
Structured, transparent, and local: that's the only kind of giving we know how to do.
Community Table Days
Our anchor program: 12 Peninsula schools, 12 Wednesdays throughout the year, 12% of each day's revenue donated directly to that school's 501(c)(3). No middlemen, no fundraising gimmicks, just a day at the restaurant that counts.
Schools apply in the spring with student-created work. Winners are announced one by one during the Twelve Days of Christmas.
A Note on Other Requests
We get a lot of invitations: galas, fundraisers, donation asks, sponsorship opportunities. We're grateful for every one, and we mean that.
Our charitable energy is concentrated in Community Table Days and a small number of annual community commitments. If you're a qualifying school or foundation, the right door is the application and it's open to everyone.
